Turkiye-Syria Fundraising

Regarding the current situation at Türkiye and Syria, EDSC dedicated Tuesday 4 April for fundraising. Students who brought a gold coin donation wore free dress in the theme ‘cultural clothing’ or orange, which signifies “social communication and meaningful conversations” as well as “freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect”. Whilst classes ran as normal, during lunchtime, carnival games (for silver or gold coin donations) were held in the Middle Courtyard. Successfully, students actively participated for the entirety of the hour and raised an abundance of money for the cause.

A fantastic effort of $1,717.95 was raised on the day.

Our hearts go out to the families suffering from the earthquakes and hope each passing day becomes brighter with our support.
