STEM - Australian Grand Prix - Student Reports

My Melbourne Albert Park Formula 1 experience was great ! On the day we were able to see multiple sights such as the F1 virtual simulators, car shows, bike shows, the vicinity itself and mainly the racing cars on the track. In this experience I was able to see up close the garages of race cars which went out on the track during the day and I was close enough to touch them. My experience was awesome, as I am always a fan of motorsport. Seeing the Formula One community rapidly grow and increase in popularity makes motorsport more competitive and an overall better experience to attend. This was an exhilarating experience I am certainly grateful for and I hope there will be more events like this to come.

The Grand Prix was such an amazing experience ! I am grateful that I was able to enjoy it with my friends. My Grandpa loved the Grand Prix and he told me how he would watch the races when he was younger. While we walked around and looked at all the different cars all the way from modern to old, I would watch my friends go up to specific cars as if they were pirates looking at gold. It wasn't just sightseeing the whole time since I wanted to try the car simulator and race my friends. We lined up in the queue and eventually got to race. For the race I accidentally didn't start my engine properly so I had a bad start. But two of my friends crashed into each other in the first few seconds, so I was able to take my place at second. Before I knew it, the day was already over. It was such a blast and went by in a flash. The Grand Prix really was something special.
