PFA Annual General Meeting
We had a successful AGM with some new parents joining us on Monday 27th March 2023.
At the AGM, office-bearers of the PFA 2023 committee (listed below) were elected:
President: Aban Tengra
Vice President: Yara Khedr
Treasurer: Patrick Leung
Secretary: Rae O’Brien
School Council Representative: Carol Niemes
Newsletter Coordinator: Afshan Sajid
Events Coordinator: Bhagwan (Bob) Jagasia
All others attending expressed their interest to become General Members of the committee.
Next Meeting
The PFA will hold its next monthly meeting on Monday 1 May 2023 at 7.30pm in the school staff room in the Main Office Block.
Those who have already expressed interest will be sent an email invite. If any more members of the school community would like to join in please email Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will very happily add you on to the distribution list.
Bake Sale at Parent Teacher Interviews
The Bake Sale organised by Parents & Friends Association on Wednesday, 29th March was a great success. PFA would like to say a big thank you to the entire EDSC community for your support in buying all the baked goodies and hot cross buns. Thank you to our own talented PFA bakers’ for the supply of delicious lemon slices, cupcakes and marshmallows. A very big thanks to all the lovely volunteers who contributed their time to help us inspite of their busy schedules with work and their children’s interviews on the day and for working tirelessly throughout the entire afternoon until the end of the night to keep the stall going until we sold off everything we had prepared.
9 April – EASTER
“Happy Easter” greetings in advance to the College Community celebrating this festival on 9 April 2023 during the term break. Wishing you loads of fun for a safe celebration.
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle
The PFA will be holding its first Sausage Sizzle fundraiser at Bunnings Doncaster in May 2023. Please look out in this space for more details regarding the event.
Since this is a major fundraising event, we would encourage the wider school community to volunteer for this event and forward your expression of interest to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com
