Catholic Identity

If there is one word that we should never tire of repeating, it is this: dialogue. We are called to promote a culture of dialogue by every possible means and thus to rebuild the fabric of society.’

Anzac Day

Our St. Mel's ANZAC Day Ceremony was such a moving experience.

Holy Week/Easter Liturgies

Our Lower Years students were our final suite to lead us in our Easter Liturgy, the children told the story of the Resurrection. Our liturgies were full of ritual, tradition and story which we all shared together and made meaning for our own lives.

Easter ~

Alleluia, Praise the Lord! Christ has Risen! Easter is a time to reflect on the gift of life, and to understand God gave  the world to us and that he is with us always.  Our hope is that Easter was a time of joy for our families and extended St Mel's community.

Jen's Farewell Mass ~

What a beautiful celebration for a beautiful member of St. Mel's School Community, Jen is a person of faith, joy, love & genuine care for all around her and has a great sense of fun. Jen will be missed, our school is a better place having had Jen a part of the team. Thank you Jen!

Let us pray. God of life’s journeys, We give thanks for Jen’s many years in Education & Administration; With a sense of gratitude in our hearts we thank the Lord for Jen’s many gifts of collegiality, friendship and guidance, during her time here at St. Mel’s & in Catholic Education Sandhurst. As Jen embarks on her new journey, we ask God’s future blessing on Jen, that the path be paved with family and friends who walk beside her, holding her hand and heart, and adding to the memories already gathered. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Amen
