Congratulations to Team sVc on their efforts at this week's SATIS Athletics Carnival in Launceston.
Some fantastic PBs and meet records were achieved along with terrific team spirit on display. Team sVc finished a respectable tied 4th in the Boys Junior Shield and 8th in the Boys Senior Shield. In the Pennant's, Team sVc finished 5th U13, 9th U14, 2nd U15 and 4th U16.
Special mention to Year 7 student Arden Petersen who broke State SATIS records in both the U13 800m and 1500m events.

Some fantastic basketball skills were on display and the passion and dedication to represent the College was outstanding. Basketball is in great hands at the College and we look forward to the representative basketball tournaments later in the year.
Congratulations to Team sVc/SMC for their efforts at the State Schools Sailing Championships at Sandy Bay last weekend. Fantastic to see 12 students out on the water racing against the state’s best.

Team sVc hit the water the past couple of weeks for the start of many early morning training sessions as our boys prepare for Term 2 Water Polo. Big shout out to our dedicated staff, parents, Old Virgilians and current Year 11 students for undertaking coaching and managing duties.
Thank you to everyone that has registered for Term 2 sports. It is going to be a busy term with AFL, Volleyball, Badminton, Hockey, Squash and Rugby all on offer. If you have registered, more information regards teams, rosters, training etc will be sent out over the school holidays and during the first week back in Term 2.
