Year 1 Cactus Landscapes 

In Year 1 Art, e talked about sunsets we have had the pleasure of witnessing and all the magical colours sometimes visible in the sky after the sun disappears beyond the horizon. Blending soft pastels, the students created a sunset background.

They then practiced different cacti shapes to add to the sunset backgrounds. Using paint and paint pens they added details to the cactus such as spikes and flowers. Beautiful!
