It’s back! Tickets are now available for the ever-popular, always sold-out Northcote High School Writers' Talkfest. It will return on Thursday 9 May with another incredible line up of Australian authors: novelist Toni Jordan, journalist Paul Daley, historian Judith Brett and crime fiction maestro Shane Maloney. (I know right!)
This year the theme will be Writing Mystery, exploring the craft of literary curiosity.
How do these four authors use the spirit of enquiry to drive plot, build character and investigate the secrets of the past? Hosted by Stella Prize-winning author, ABC broadcaster and NHS parent, Clare Wright with book sales by Neighbourhood Books. Author signings, door prizes and more. All proceeds go to the Northcote High Thrive Fund - Innovate, which supports innovative projects by students and staff.
