Victorian Design Challenge

On Tuesday 19th March Katinka Weber and Milla Freeman presented their Green Tap at the Victorian Design Challenge Live Pitch Finals. They were amongst other teams from schools, universities and industry, all presenting their Waste Saving product designs. The teams pitched their designs to a panel of judges from various areas of industry and a live audience on stage in the Great Hall at the NGV.

Milla and Katinka certainly held their own and did a fantastic job pitching their Green Tap to the crowd. Their thoroughness and clarity inspired lots of support from the professional’s panel and the wider audience. The girls were approached and personally congratulated and invited to enter other competitions with one suggesting they pitch to Reece Bathroom Supplies.

A big thank you to Charlie Ranscombe from Swinburne University who mentored the girls through the application process. Milla and Katinka would also like to thank their families, teachers and the BrainSTEM team for inspiring and supporting their journey.
