GBR Games Gallop 4km Fun Run 

St Mary's is excited to participate in the GBR Games Gallop 4km Fun Run on the Esplanade on Wednesday 19th May. The Games Gallop is a 4km fun run raising money for a local charity while promoting a healthier community. All members of our community are welcome, including students, parents, siblings, staff, board members and friends. Interested students should email Miss Zappala to confirm their interest. 

When: Wednesday 19th May 2021. St Mary’s will meet at 4pm to check in and receive your running bib - the run will commence at 4:30pm

Where: Cairns Esplanade (near the McKenzie Street junction) 

Wear: Please wear your St Mary’s Run Squad singlet or sports uniform. You can see Miss Zappala if you’d like a SMCC running singlet. 

Course: The 4km course will be one lap at the northern end of the Esplanade (starting near McKenzie Street) with fun activities thanks to Cairns Taipans, Northern Pride, Survivor Golf and Caravella Football Academy, adding more fun to the run.

Register: Please register at the following link and complete the online form: https://www.gbrmg.com.au/the-games/games-gallop Registrations close Friday 14th May. No registrations will be accepted on the day. There is a registration fee of $5 which goes to the KICK ON charity. They promote positive mental health through various programs, events and campaigns. 

Please note: you must arrange your own transportation to / from the event. A teacher from St Mary’s will be at the event to help organise students with registration.
