Trade Training Centre Director

A busy start to the year in the Trade Training Centre. Year 11 and 12 VET students are well into their certificate courses in Automotive, Construction, Furnishing, Engineering and Hospitality as well as those students who are undertaking Certificate courses through external RTO’s.

Work placement is underway which gives our Year 11 and 12 students an insight into industry in Cairns and for many is a stepping stone to school-based apprenticeships or even full-time apprenticeships.  St Mary’s TTC is grateful to those industries who support our VET program and is always interested in adding more businesses as our workplace hosts.
