High tea to celebrate Mother's Day

St Anne's College will host a high tea to celebrate Mother's Day, from 10:30am-11:30am on Friday, May 7. Mothers, grandmothers or a special lady in a student's life are welcome to come and enjoy a cuppa and some sweet and savoury treats that will be prepared by our students. Please RSVP to the college's Community Engagement Officer, Mardie Guppy, at mguppy@sackialla.catholic.edu.au by Friday, April 30 if you would like to attend.

Drivers causing concern in college car park

Parents/carers are reminded that they are not to stop in the roadway of the college car park to wait for a park to become available as this causes traffic to build up along the roadway, preventing vehicles from being able to reverse out of car parks and also blocking the roundabout. If a park is unavailable, drivers need to drive down to the turning circle and then drive back to the roundabout and enter the car park again. We understand that this can be frustrating but safety comes first. The other option is to park in a nearby street and walk to the college, using the pedestrian crossings at the front of the college.

Drivers must not drop off or pick up children on the car park roadway. The vehicle must be parked for drop-off and pick-up. Students are also not to be dropped off in the roundabout. Drivers need to be mindful of their speed in the college car park and drive slowly. The safety of our students, their families and our staff is paramount.

Process for signing in and out of the college

Parents of School of Wonder children who arrive late at school need to accompany their child to college reception and sign them in for the day. School of Innovation students are permitted to sign themselves in when arriving late.

Parents must come into the college office to sign their child out for appointments or when ill etc. during learning hours.

Casual Relief Teachers required at St Anne's

St Anne’s College is in need of Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) for our School of Wonder (Foundation, Years 1 and 2) and our School of Innovation (Years 7, 8 and 9). Interested applicants should send their details to office@sackialla.catholic.edu.au and include the year levels they are available to teach, and if they have a preference to please state this. If you are keen to join our team we’d love to hear from you!

2022 enrolment process in full swing

Enrolment enquiries for inclusion in round-one offers close on May 7, 2021.

Parents of children already enrolled at St Anne's College still need to complete an online enrolment enquiry if they have other children wishing to enrol for 2022 or beyond.

Protocol for when a student is unwell

Families are reminded that when a student is feeling unwell they are to speak to their Learning Mentor and then go to sick bay. Students are not to send a text message to or call their parents when they are feeling unwell. A staff member will notify parents when their child is unwell and needing to go home. Mobile phones are not to be used by students during school hours.

Reminder to check PAM daily

The Parent Access Module (PAM) for our learning management system (SIMON) is an important source of communication between the college and families. PAM is the portal through which parents can check on learning areas, send parent notified absences, access school activity permission forms and check daily messages. It is also the portal through which you will access your child's reports. It is important that you log into PAM daily to check any updates or notices. Schools today are facing intense scrutiny and are under tremendous pressure for improvement compounded by major issues that place significant demands on our schools. Some of the issues are:
