Food Technology

As the term comes to an end, we share with you all some photos of the work from the Year 7 to 10 students. The Year 7/8s have had an introduction to kitchen equipment and food preparation skills. The Year 9 students have continued to build on their previous cooking skills, and have been learning about nutrition and meal planning and applying those skills.. The Year 9 Cake Art project: students used their new cake making skills to make, colour and create their own designs for a festive cake. In Year 10 Celebrity Chef, students have worked individually to research and design meals around their chef of choice. They worked on their own to read and follow new recipes and this extended their cooking skills whilst making delicious meals. Students have enjoyed the opportunity to work independently and have fun in the kitchen. It has been a busy, enjoyable productive term.
