State Cross Country 18th July

The 19 students listed below qualified to compete in State Cross Country which was held at Bundoora Park in week 1 of this term.  In order to qualify for the State Event, our team members have competed and finished in the top 12 runners in the School, Division and Regional Cross Country events which were all held last term. We would like to congratulate all of our State Cross Country Team who’s outstanding results are due to their dedication and endless hours of training.

Individual Results :

Some of our individual highlights were Niamh Tabit coming in First with a time of 10:13, her sister Amira coming in Fourth with a time of 11:28.  In our 15 Year Boys, Archie Noakes came 4th with a time of 9:43 and Sam Dite 5th with 10:00. In the 16 Year Girls Mikaila Young – 3rd with a time of 11:20.  In our 16 Year Boys Douglas Buckeridge came in First with a time of 15:26.

Team Results :

Once again, we had a lot of success in the teams events. First up was our 14 Year girls coming in first place, their team consisted of Niamh Tabit, Amira Tabit and Ava Robinson. Our 15 year boys came in 3rd, team members were Archie Noakes, Sam Dite and James Pinder.  Our 16 year girls also had success coming in first place with their team consisting of Mikaila Young, Grace Young, Marielle Bouman and Miranda Cooney-Hunt.

Well done to all of our Cross Country team members and thank you to all of their parents and families who came along to support our students.
