Values Trees

'From Little Things Big Things Grow’

If you walked past our school on Bradford Avenue lately, you will have noticed that our Value’s Trees (on the window near the Library) are beginning to bloom. Each year level has their own tree and when a student is spotted demonstrating one of our school values in the yard, they are given the corresponding sticker. The teacher and class celebrate when students come back from a recess or lunch break wearing one of our School Values Stickers. Each sticker is awarded a leaf on our Value’s tree. They are colour coded to match each of our school values and are an acknowledgement of students displaying our expected behaviours. We hope that  these trees are a colourful mass of leaves in the coming weeks.  At the conclusion of each term, the Year level tree with the most leaves will choose an appropriate celebration. What a great way to celebrate the students behaving well!

Please congratulate your child if they come home wearing one of our new Greenvale Primary School Values Stickers. 😊
