First Aid

On March 31st as part of our Certificate 2 in Community Services, members of 11Y and other Year 12 students undertaking the Certificate 2 in Community Services, undertook First Aid training. The training is a valuable and important part of our course enabling students to gain the necessary lifesaving skills and an awareness of the role of the First Aider in emergency situations. 

We thank Bronwyn for taking us through the course today. She was a patient, knowledgeable and helpful trainer who really made sure all participants understood the essential information. She assisted all participants ensuring they had the practical skills needed for CPR, responding to emergencies and wound management. Well done to all involved including Mrs Giovanna Hill who gave up her time to make sure she also received the training and who helped support the class today. A big thank you to Edna Cruz who also supported students during their training today.
