Athletics Day

What a day!!! The weather was great and so too was the entire day. By all accounts, the students, staff, parents and spectators thoroughly enjoyed the many and varied events of the Athletics Day. A big thank you to Mr Sanchez for all his hard work preparing the day and the venue. I would like to congratulate the students for their participation, behaviour and sportsmanship on the day.

Thank you to everyone for being patient when registering upon entry to the Casey Fields venue and for viewing the student events from the grandstand or the perimeter fencing. It made for successful social distancing and event management. Many thanks go to our parent volunteers who worked hard throughout the day. The day wouldn't have been possible without your time and effort. It is greatly appreciated.

While we thank our volunteers, I would like to take the opportunity to invite more parents and family members to respond to another Volunteer Induction Session this Thursday 18th March at 2:45pm. Please arrive at the office to sign in. I hope to see more volunteers particularly with the commencement of many class activities such as Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) for the Junior Classes. Please ensure you have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) if you intend to be a volunteer.

Senior Camp

Just a reminder to Senior students' families that Senior Camp to Candlebark Farm is next week - Wednesday 24th - Friday 26th March 2021. Please ensure you have completed medication forms that accompany your child's medication ready to submit on the camp morning. Please see your child's teacher prior to camp if you need to discuss anything of importance as the morning of camp is an extremely busy time.

Students and families should arrive at 8:30am on Wednesday morning and can drop off luggage in the hall upon arrival, then students can make their way to their respective classrooms for roll call. Parents and families are asked to remain outside the hall to farewell the students once they're on buses. We are scheduled to leave at 9:00am SHARP. We will not be waiting past 9:00am as we have a tight schedule to meet.
