Upper Junior Update

Wednesdays in Upper Junior have seen students engaging in Exploratory Play sessions as a whole section. This involves students being offered three different play options- so far this term these options have included arts and crafts, construction and musical exploration. These sessions have been great opportunities for students to develop their social skills, turn taking skills and to participate in activities with different staff and students from other homeroom classes. 

Students in Upper Junior have also been enjoying Fun with Food sessions each Friday within their homeroom groups! This has included trying a range of foods in different ways, including making fruit pizzas and crunchy apple boats. We have also made some chocolate moon rocks, relating to our space theme this term, which were a big hit!
