Business Innovations

Business innovations is a new topic at PHS and one that the students have taken a shine to. The SACE topic teaches students how to move their business ideas from dreams to fully realised proposals. 

They do this by investigating customer problems, finding solutions, and then testing their proposed solutions by using a variety of business modelling tools. 

For their first assignment the students have been designing and testing the idea of an adjustable stubbie holder so that you can keep your beverage cool no matter its size. 

They arrived at this idea by exploring problems that they and their family faced, and then designed a product that solved the problem. They tested their idea by asking staff about their product design and used the feedback to improve it.

The assignment has already shown their entrepreneurial spirit that will only grow as they continue to learn about business practices through the course.
