Physical Activity Week

Physical Activity Week

During Week 9 of this term, the Health and Physical Education faculty ran a ‘Physical Activity Week’ at the school. The idea behind the week was to encourage all students to be physically active every day. The week aimed to educate students that there is a great range of ways to be physically active to suit all kinds of interests.

The National Physical Activity (Sedentary behaviour and sleep) recommendations for young people aged 5-17 years is 60 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous physical activity per day.

More than 300 students were a part of the week. Congratulations to all of those students.
