Art & Design Show

The VCE Art and Design Show on Wednesday 17 October was a fabulous success with students, families and staff enjoying the showcase of art.  

Earlier in the day the judging panel of Linda Brown, Eva Cummings from sponsors Barry Plant Real Estate Mordialloc and Amy Clemens, a former student and professional designer (www.amyclemens.com.au) viewed all the artwork for the special awards. 

The student awards went to:

Year 12 

Media - Nicola Reeves -  'So a vegan walks into a BBQ' a Vegan cookbook 

Art - Maddison Clark - installation work 

Visual Communications Design - Hailey Bartholomew - juice design 

The acquisitive art award went to Ellie Ces for her visual communications design work for dog accessories.

Year 11

Visual Communications Design - Casey Boswell

Art - Romy Ellerton

Many thanks to the visual arts student helpers - Olivia Gryszan, Skye Ferguson and Hailey Bartholomew who assisted with the exhibition and displays. 

More thanks and appreciation for the contribution of singers Ebony Anderson and Amethyst Parlanti accompanied by former student Rachel Butler and guitar soloist Meg Meyerheinrich.
