State Schools Victoria Athletics 

Congratulations to the nine students who represented MGSC at the State Schools Victoria track and field event held on Monday 22 October. 

A number of students competed in individual events as well as a relay team.  They did extremely well and each student can be commended on their results.

Jemmah Paton (12-13  year old age group) 

1st in high jump (1.60 metres - equal record )

2nd in triple jump

Zoe Cunningham (16 year old age group)

2nd in shot put

6th in 200 metres

Milly Webster (15 year old age group)

3rd in 200 metres

3rd in 100 metres

Emily Ryan (15 year old age group)

1st shot put (a record)

2nd discus

3rd in javelin

Kisarna Berntsen (16 year old age group)

1st in javelin 

Millie Belleville (16 year old age group)​

2nd in 1500 metres

Freya Brown (12-13  year old age group) 

9th in 1500 metres

Charlie Anderson, Catriona McMaster, Milly Webster and Emily Ryan (15 year old age group)

3rd in 4 x 100 metres relay 

An incredible bank of results with most students coming away with a medal in some colour!

A tremendous achievement.

A special mention to Emily Ryan (shot put – 14.26 metres) and Jemmah Paton (high jump – 1.60 metres) for both breaking the State Schools Victoria records for their respective events.

MGSC finished 10th overall in the state for athletics!
