Parent and Community

Even though we are not at school our Cardenas keeps growing! Thank you to the students at school who have ripped out the tomatoes and zucchini beds and found some yummy Strawberries and silverbeet on their travels.

Positive Feedback

I would like to provide feedback in regards to remote learning, particularly middle school.

While listening to or watching the activities uploaded to Seesaw, one would not think that this was a new method of teaching.

As a parent, I would think the level of professionalism shown is a result of doing 'this' for many years.

As School Council President, I know that this is not the case.

I am more than impressed with the quality and accuracy of the instructions, to the point where I can now comfortably say to my children, "Listen/watch the instructions again".

I don't have to do anything extra for them to understand the task, aside from helping/motivating they complete it on some level.

I would like to give a shout out to Clare Bennett (3b teacher). I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Clare teach before, and I am so impressed if this is just a snippet of her craft.

Her instructions are clear and concise, almost as if she's designed the instructions to suit this exact cohort, after years and years of online teaching experience.

Hats off to you all.  You're all doing a stellar job in this crazy situation.  It's not going unnoticed.

Stay warm,

Jodi Price
