Goings on in the Art Room

The Rosella Room has been busy this week!

This week in Art lessons, the Year 5/6 students began the design and painting of their pencil boxes. This work is progressing well and the students are eager to complete their boxes next lesson. They have created brightly coloured original designs using a variety of techniques.

The 3/4, 2/3/4, and 1/2 classes are close to finishing their delightful self portraits using pens and watercolour pencils. 

The Prep /1 class has explored the art element of Line. They were able to name and draw a variety of different lines (and shapes) with felt tip markers. The students finished this artwork painting it with brightly coloured food dyes. Early finishers were then able to complete the eye collages.
