Units of Inquiry

The proposed units of work are:

HISTORY: Australia as a Nation - Federation

Students to develop their historical inquiry skills by investigating the key figures and events that led to Australia's Federation.

SCIENCE: Earth and Space Science - Creators and Destroyers

Earth and Space Science provides opportunities for students to develop an understanding of sudden geological changes and extreme weather events that can affect Earth’s surface.

SCIENCE: Physical Science— Circuits & Switches

An investigation on how electrical energy can be transferred and transformed in electrical circuits and can be generated from a range of sources. 

HEALTH - Family Life Program

Health information including an explanation of the physical, social and emotional changes that students may experience through puberty.

Business and Economics

Investigate the process of  developing a  business  plan in the"Make it and Bake it" unit.
