Team Leader's Message

Transition Meetings

Following on from our annual Concord Careers Expo, parents/carers and Year 12 students met with the Post-School Transition Coordinator, Rhiannon Campbell, and myself last week to identify services they wish to explore further in Term 2 before making decisions about placements for 2019 in Term 3.  Families who attended found this meeting extremely beneficial to discuss the information they collected at the Expo and identify relevant options for life after school.

The Grand Prix

Last Friday students in Secondary 11/12 attended the opening day of the Grand Prix at Albert Park.  This followed a short unit of work that addressed selected Literacy, Numeracy and Personal Development Skills outcomes but, above all, it was a great end-of-term excursion with all the students!

Success Pass Winner

Congratulations to our winner, Amee H, for demonstrating organisational skills in her Retail Beauty course.  She chose to have a personal ‘out of uniform’ day.
