Mission Action Day 2022

Mission Action Day 2022
Mazenod College will hold its annual Mission Action Day (MAD) on Friday 8th April, the last day of Term 1 to raise awareness and funds to support the work of the Oblate Missions. The Oblates continue to serve the needy in marginalised communities facing increasing hardship. Our annual fundraiser endeavours to support this work and build on the Catholic Social Teaching principles of upholding Human Dignity and working for Solidarity.
MAD was launched at the Junior School Assembly and during homeroom for the Seniors this week, building excitement amongst the students as they look forward to working together to have fun whilst supporting this cause. Particular details about the day will be sent home to families within the week. In the meantime, you are invited to join in a range of our lead-up activities.
What can you do right now to begin supporting MAD 2022?
- Donate items for raffle prizes eg. gift vouchers, electronics, sporting gear, etc. Items can be delivered to the Student Counter or Reception where they will be gratefully received. Items big or small welcome as prizes will be bundled or stand-alone.
- Support the pre-events at school for MARCH MAD-ness - ‘Guess the number of Lollies’ every day, entry by gold coin donations at ‘Family Feud’ (Wednesday 23 March), the Great Debate (Wednesday 30 March) and Funky Friday (Friday 1 April)
