Premier's Reading Challenge

Every student at BHPS has been enrolled to complete the 

Victorian Premier's Reading challenge!

We challenge you!!

Prep - Grade 2 students, your goal is to read or have read to you, 30 books! (20 challenge books, 10 free choice)

Grade 3-6 students, your goal is to read 15 books! (10 challenge books, 5 free choice)

You can log into https://vprc.eduweb.vic.gov.au/home and start adding the books you have read and continue to read during term 2 and 3. The reading challenge finishes on September 2nd. 

We have a Pizza Lunch reward for the class that read the most books, so don't stop at your goal, keep reading, keep entering your books.

Remember to check out your borrowing history in Accessit to recall and add the books you have already read!

For a list of Challenge books - https://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/events/prc/Pages/booklist.aspx (as you enter books into your dashboard, it will tell you if it is a challenge or choice book).

The Premiers’ Reading Challenge encourages children and students to read a set number of books over the year and record their efforts online. Since the Challenge first began in 2005, more than 3 million students have read nearly 51 million books. On completion of the challenge students will receive a certificate and our top readers will also receive a special momento!
