Financial Literacy and Wellbeing for Young Women delivered by VICSEG New Futures

Melton Secondary College students are currently partaking in a school-based program tailored to build proficiency in financial literacy and wellbeing for young women. The initiative is being delivered by VICSEG New Futures; a not-for- profit organisation working predominantly with CALD young people and communities.

The Financial Literacy and Wellbeing for Young Women program is a six month program to assist young women, especially from newly arrived and recently settled migrant and refugee backgrounds, to build their knowledge and skills in managing money and being financially independent. VICSEG New Futures has been working with Melton Secondary College for many years delivering school engagement programs to develop students’ leadership skills. We are delighted to partner with them again in 2022.
