Colac Primary Schools Lawn Bowls Championships

Well done to all the children who competed at the Colac Primary Schools Lawn Bowls Championships yesterday. A big thank you to the Colac Bowling Club for organising the tournament. Especially to the clubs men and women who volunteered their time to help the children. Sacred Heart A were the overall winners and Sacred Heart C were runners-up. The winning team will now travel to Ararat on Friday 16th March to play in the Greater Western Lawn Bowls Championships.

Colac Division Tennis Championships

Thank you to all the children who trialled for the Colac Division Tennis Championships last Friday. Good luck to the following children who will play in the tournament: Seb Cooknell, Harry McConachy, Jesse McCarthy, Lewis Harris, Stathi Papafotis, Fred Melville, Manny Rob, Louis Hickey, Olivia Tomkins, Pippa Barren, Zoe Mitchell, Gwen Scott, Tayla Williamson.

This event will take place on Monday 7th March at the Colac Lawn Tennis Courts in Church Street.

Could parents/guardians please fill out the permission form on PAM.

Year 1 and 2 Football Clinic

AFLW’s Cats player and past student Darcy Moloney is visiting the school this Friday 4th March to run some football clinics for our students in Years 1 and 2. Children will need to wear their sports uniform on this day and bring along their drink bottle. Children may also like to wear a football jumper/top etc. Football boots are not required.

Year 5/6 Golf Lessons

Our Year 5 and 6 students will be fortunate enough to have some golf lessons by one of the Regional Golf Developers/pro coach. Each class will have two lessons. These lessons will take place on Wednesday 9th March and 23rd March.

Children will need to wear their sports uniforms on these days and bring along their drink bottles. Golf equipment will be supplied.

Sacred Heart Athletics Day Years 3-6

The Sacred Heart Athletics Day for Years 3-6 will take place on Friday 11th March at the Colac Central Reserve. The athletics will start at 9.30 am and finish at approximately 1.30 pm. Children will be walking to the Central Reserve on this day. We do need parent helpers to assist with the field events and running events. All volunteers on the day must present their Vaccination Certificate to the school office prior to this event.

Could parents/guardians please fill out the permission form on PAM and also indicate if you can help on the day.
