Assembly Awards
COVID Update
Staff in the Junior School are still required to wear masks until Monday 7th February. Until then, no changes will be made to visitors on-site. Thank you for your patience.
Colour Run
Thank you to everyone who has set up a profile and begun fund raising for the P & F Colour Run on Friday 18th March. With your help we have just raised enough to purchase our first Shade Shelter and are well on our way to our goal of 10! If you haven’t registered as yet you can go to special COLOUR RUN tile in this newsletter for the direct link. Together we are going to make a huge impact across our school before next summer.
Junior School Disco
Our Disco was postponed and the new date is Friday 11th March. Information can be found on the HUB in this link: Junior School Disco
RAHTS
Each student received a pack of 7 RAHT tests on Friday last week, these will be the last RAHT tests provided by the school. These RAHTs need to be used for symptomatic testing. If your child is showing symptoms of COVID-19 please test your child using a RAHT before sending them to school. If they are negative, they may come to school. If they are positive, please notify the school by sending an email to attendance@calrossy.nsw.edu.au, log it on the Services NSW App and the whole household must isolate for 7 days. If you didn’t receive your supply, please contact reception.
Open Day
Calrossy hosted Open Day last week and it was delightful to see so many families interested in our school. If you know anyone who is interested in Calrossy please tell them to get in touch with the school. Students are welcome to do trial days at any stage throughout the year and we have scheduled tours running in each holiday break.
Staff Professional Development Day
There will be a Staff Professional Development Day on Monday 7th March there will be no classes held on this day.
Prep and Kindergarten Teddy Bears Picnic
The Teddy Bears Picnic will be held in ANZAC Park on Friday 4th March from 5:00pm – 7:00pm for all of our Prep and Kindergarten students and their families. For catering purposes please RSVP to juniorschool@calrossy.nsw.edu.au if you would like to attend, by WEDNESDAY 2nd March. More information can be found on the HUB: Teddy Bears Picnic
Cadbury Fundraising Chocolates
Cadbury Freddo’s will be on sale at lunchtime on Friday’s to raise money for the P & F. They are 50 cents each with a maximum of 2 allowed for each student.
Uniform
All the uniform items have arrived. Everyone is now expected to be in the correct uniform every day.
