COVID Update

Living With COVID
A video of the latest COVID changes can be found on The Hub.
The summary includes:
From Monday 28 February:
- Masks are no longer required for Secondary Students or staff.
- Rapid antigen testing moves to ‘symptomatic testing’ only.
- Masks remain mandatory in primary schools for an additional week for teachers/adults. They remain recommended for students.
From Monday 7 March:
- As of Monday 7 March, masks will no longer be mandatory in the Junior School. This staggered change recognises the lower vaccination rates in students of this age.
Boarding
Separate information has been provided to Boarder families to assist with the next few weeks and general expectations.
General
COVID is not over and so we will continue to be vigilant and careful. Rigorous cleaning and general hygiene practices will be maintained. It is important that we limit risk of infection as much as possible. Any student who is unwell should remain at home or go to the Health Centre and be tested. Household contacts of positive cases are still required to quarantine.
Rapid Antigen Home Testing Kits
Students have been provided with a 7-pack of kits for personal use, which can be determined by parents.
Positive tests must still be reported via Services NSW and to school.
Thanks for your support in working together to protect our students and the more vulnerable members of our school community.
