Year 12 Formal

Last Saturday evening our Year 12s shared a wonderful evening with their partners at Brisbane City Hall. From conversations post-event, it was a great success. For these events to take place, they need the support of staff. Thank you to our Heads of House – Megan Wandell, Scott Minogue, Brett Gillett, Terry Quain, Stan Kosiek, Brendan Kiernan, Tony Byrnes, David Meehan for their presence.

I am sure there will be many great photos circulating of the night!

Year 8 Pastoral Days

The Year 8 pastoral days occur next Monday 14 March (Ridley, Ephrem, Foley, Gilroy) and Tuesday 15 March (Harold, Ignatius, Rush, Slattery). Students will have the opportunity on these days to develop and progress their team and leadership skills using character-building strategies. These days will take place at Mt Coot-tha. The latest information from the provider is that despite the recent rain, they are prepared and organised to still take place. We will make families aware if this changes.

Mask Wearing

Whist mask-wearing regulations have changed within the school environment, students and families need to be aware that there is still the requirement for any person 12 years or over travelling on public transport to be wearing a mask. MCA1 and MCA2 bus services are private charters and do not require a mask.

COVID-19 Isolation

A reminder to all families that if your son is positive, they need to be home isolating for seven days from the positive test result and symptom-free in order to return to school.
