Are you a VCE student interested in studying fine art? Join us for a hands-on workshop on Saturday, 26 March.

Specially designed for students in Year 10-12, during this immersive art session you'll get the opportunity to get involved in drawing and screen printing, and find out what it's like to study Fine Art at Monash. Afterwards, you'll also have a chance to visit the MUMA exhibition of artwork by renowned experimental artist Vivienne Binns.

The Bachelor of Fine Art, a studio-based degree with a strong focus on contemporary fine art, will allow you to develop and engage your creative ideas in tandem with learning new skills, techniques, materials and mediums.

The Bachelor of Art History and Curating will help you develop your understanding and appreciation of art, including its origins and significance, preparing you for a career in art history, criticism, curating and cultural production.

William Angliss Experience Sessions – 21st April (School Holidays)

We are also excited to announce our ‘Angliss Experience sessions’, which will run during the school holidays (21st April 2022).  This is an opportunity for students to come onto campus and experience life as Angliss students. These school holidays we are focusing on our food courses, and the activities are as fun as they are delicious.

The Best Australian Yarn 2022

The West Australian and Minderoo Foundation present The Best Australian Yarn, a search for Australia’s best short story. It is a celebration of creative writing and the arts across Australia.

Everyone has a story to tell, and now we are calling on Australians everywhere to put pen to paper and take part in the world’s richest short story competition for published and unpublished writers.

Your story doesn’t have to be long, just 1500 – 2500 words. Anyone can enter – published and unpublished writers, students, anyone over the age of 12.

There is a prize pool of $50,000 to be won across a range of categories.

Entries close on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

goIT Girls – Virtual Work Experience Program

Tata Consultancy Service’s virtual Work Experience Program, goIT Girls, is open for registrations for female students in years 10 and 11 across Australia in 2022.

Students will learn from real executives about the range of exciting STEM roles across the business spectrum and be introduced to key skills and big ideas in the IT industry. The program will enhance confidence and employability in participants. goIT Girls is about inspiring a new generation of innovators, problem solvers and technology leaders.
