Celebrating our Education Support (ES)  Staff

This week across Australia we are celebrating the work of ES staff in schools. These are our staff who are not teachers. They perform a plethora of roles across the school such as facilities, finance, HR, IT, Library, First Aid, Attendance, Wellbeing, Science and Food class preparation and in class support for students. They provide the backbone to our school that keeps it operating. They also really get involved in the life of the school providing extra activities for students such as Radio Club, Nicky’s Nails and Scrabble and Chess Club.

Our ES staff are a fantastic bunch of people who embody the care and connection that is characteristic of our Staughton Family.  Our teachers will be writing gratitude notes to them this week to show them how valued they are. I encourage everyone in our wider community to look for opportunities to thank them for what they are doing as you come in contact with them at our school.

I am deeply grateful for what our ES staff do and the way they do it. Thank you ES staff!

We, at Staughton College, would like to show our respect and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our school is situated, of elders past and present. We extend a warm welcome to everyone who visits our school.
