Japanese News

Konnichiwa,

In Japanese over the next few weeks, our focus is our school value, respect.

The word for this week is sumimasen which means excuse me.

Other words we like to use in class are arigato – thank you, and kudasai – please.

Students in 5/6 have been learning the hiragana alphabet. The final belt is the Black Belt. To achieve this, students need to know the whole alphabet, including sound changes and combination sounds.

Congratulations on this fabulous achievement.

James - 5/6H, Sam - 5/6M, Harrison - 5/6H and Noah - 5/6G
