ART NEWS

Ballarat is often spoken about in regard to our cold weather, however, here at Delacombe PS, we are believe that no other town or city, puts on an Autumn display quite like Ballarat does! The beautiful changes this season is brings, are providing such brilliant inspiration for the work students are creating in Art. We are discussing textures and colour blends, whilst exploring how to create these realistically in our artworks.

We are still in need of empty cereal boxes, so if you have any at home, we would be so grateful to receive them! Our middle and senior students are using them to create their own stencils, which they will then use to create a jungle scene.

You can see the concentration and joy our students demonstrate whilst they are in Art; we are so proud of them and love seeing their smiling faces in our happy space!
