Assembly Performance

Thank you to Paddy Humby (Year 7) for his energetic performance of the programmatic solo work Train Whistle by Aaron Minsky. Minsky is an American cellist, known for his “celtar” style of combining cello and guitar techniques in his works. Paddy recently completed his Grade 7 AMEB practical cello exam and we look forward to hearing his results.

Soirée Winterreise

Students wishing to perform at our next soirée on Tuesday, 20th June, can now sign-up at the Music Office. You are welcome to discuss your planned performance piece with Mrs Smith or Mrs Cooney. If you are planning to use a microphone or backing track, you must attend a technical rehearsal on Monday, 19th June in the Recital Room, at lunchtime.
