Year 9 & 10 Evangelisation Day

On Wednesday 17th May, Year 9 and 10 students had the opportunity to attend the 2023 Sydney Catholic Schools’ Evangelisation Day at Domremy College, Five Dock. It was an enriching day that taught us how to walk with the Holy Spirit and grow closer to God.

We heard from a variety of Catholic speakers, such as Chris Padgett, a Catholic speaker, husband and father from the United States, who shared about how Christ has transformed his life, and how the Holy Spirit can guide us to live whole and fulfilled lives.  

We participated in a range of games, songs and dances with students from the Sydney Catholic Schools, which provided a great opportunity to make new friends and connections.

Towards the end of the day, all of the students, teachers and staff participated in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration is a time to connect with Jesus and admire all he has done for us. 

Overall, the Sydney Catholic Schools’ Year 9 and 10 Evangelisation Day was fun and engaging, providing valuable lessons on how to grow closer to God and walk with the Holy Spirit in our hearts.
