Years 6-9 Middle Years Information

Morrisby Report

Students from our Year 9 cohort completed the Morrisby Testing earlier in the week, culminating in a report which they, and their parents/guardians, could access to begin thinking about their career pathways.

With the comprehensive report in hand, an online parent/guardian session was then held, to explain how the individual reports identified student strengths, as well as the type of study and careers options suited to them moving forward. Thank you to Mrs Nolan, our College Career Pathway Counsellor, for her passion and preparation of these engaging and beneficial sessions.

Year 6 Athletics Day Preparation

After a successful Middle Years (Years 7 -12) Athletics Carnival, preparation has begun for our Junior Years Carnival which includes our Year 6 cohort (based on the School Sports Victoria age divisions). To prepare our Year 6 students for this event, showing and practicing correct techniques is important.

Therefore, our Physical Education sessions are focusing on developing the skills necessary to participate in long jump, shotput, triple-jump, sprints as well as discus. In these pictures, students can be seen warming up and playing strategy games, as well as focusing on the disciplines of triple-jump and discus throwing. We look forward to the upcoming carnival.
