Investigating the properties of light

In science, Stage 5 has been investigating the properties of light. The students conducted a practical investigation to observe these properties using the light boxes and various prisms.

They observed reflection, refraction, the bending of light, diffraction, the bending of waves through a gap, and dispersion, the forming of a rainbow.

Year 8 Technology Mandatory 

The Year 8 technology mandatory class has been busily working on their beanies and bucket hats. Everyone has learnt new skills in laying out and cutting fabric using commercial patterns, blanket stitching and machine sewing circular shapes. 

Well done to the class who have applied themselves each lesson to produce some unique final products.
