Mother’s Day Celebrations

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, and carers in our lives.  We trust that you all had a lovely day on Sunday celebrating with your families. We must acknowledge the beautiful Mass that was held at Rosehill Gardens last Friday. A big thank you to the College for hosting such a wonderful celebration of our mothers at the College.  A lot of time and planning goes into such events and we must thank Mr Leslie, Mr Cooper, and Mrs Viney for the coordination of the day.  The beautiful morning was enjoyed by all.

Keeping with tradition, every mother, grandmother, and career received a colourful rose from their son/grandson at the Mass. We would like to thank and acknowledge the following volunteers who came on Thursday to help wrap the roses:  Jamey Poayoan, Joanne Govorcin, Sandra Chidiac, Lina Bartorilla, Caroline Matulic, Thouraia BouAntoun, Gina Geronimo, Stephanie Tse, Jenny Truong, Cathy Marciano, Joanna Crisafulli, Monica Darlow, Rebecca Hay and John Angelakis.  The following students must also be acknowledged for once again volunteering their time to help: Samuel Ayoub, Jamie Cipollone, Christian Alha and Nathan Devine.

Finally, a very big thank you to Mrs Alison Auland who coordinated the whole process of the roses for our Mother’s Day celebrations.

Year 12 Mother’s Day Luncheon

Following the Mass on Friday, mothers from the Year 12 cohort gathered at Strathfield Golf Club for lunch in celebration of their time together at the school.  A very big thank you to Maria Ferro and Natalie Wahbe for organising such a lovely event.  A wonderful time

was had by all.
