What a positive week for our Primary students! Our swimming program has taken place every day this week, and our students have enjoyed each lesson with continued enthusiasm and motivation. It has been a pleasure to watch our students learn the routines and expectations of the swimming excursion and become more independent each day. Our students have learned skills around travelling to swimming safely on the bus, changing their clothes, drying themselves, looking after their property, walking safely around the centre. These are in addition to the confidence and skills our students have gained in the pool. Students have learned about entering the pool safely, blowing bubbles, kicking in the water, floating, jumping into the pool, and of course, having fun safely in the water.

A big "congratulations' to all the primary students for their progress in this program. Also, a big "Thank You" to our parent/carer volunteers at the pool. This involvement has a very worthwhile impact on the engagement of students during this program.
