Getting to the business end of the year

Although we are all bunkered down and working offsite, it’s a very busy time with Year 12s working on transition planning and preparing for final assessments and exams.  Whether it’s Plan A, B or C we encourage all students to consider applying for further study next year, whether it be a Certificate, Degree or Diploma. Students who will be seeking traineeships or apprenticeships should be working proactively to prepare their resumes and portfolios.  Despite the many uncertainties in our current environment, research, planning and actions are still vital parts of the transition process.

Students who are applying for a VET course as part of their NHS program in 2022 should be checking emails and ensuring that all paperwork requirements are completed.  Lou Renard has been working with students and families to finalise course enrolment requirements.  VET courses have been filling up fast.  If you have any questions about VET for 2022 please email Louisa.Renard@nhs.vic.edu.au (Lou works Tues/Wed/Thurs).

We would like ALL Year 12 students to have completed their VTAC application, including SEAS and Scholarships by the end of this term.  That means less than three weeks!  Any student not applying for courses next year should book a meeting with Booma to discuss their transition plans.
