Co-captain interviews will take place in Term 4 and a virtual investiture ceremony is being planned. We acknowledge all students who nominated for the student leadership elections. We look forward to hearing your voice, as well as seeing your participation and the innovative ways you lead.
Many thanks to Ms La Grassa who has coordinated Prefects in 2021-2022, now managed by Mr Barrington who oversaw the completely virtual nomination speeches and elections.
A special thanks to Ms Humphreys who assisted with the online SRC election process.
Finally, a particular thank you to Ms Jenkins for her years of service in the role of SRC coordinator, now to be taken up by Ms Wilson. Ms Jenkins has been a dedicated and highly creative coordinator of student leaders at Canterbury Girls, managing an annual calendar of events which has seen the young people in the SRC make great progress in their leadership skills through fundraising, community service and activism. At our virtual investiture in term 4 we will look back on some of the highlights of the Ms Jenkins' time as SRC coordinator. We welcome Ms Wilson to the role and wish her all the best.

As term 3 draws to an end, I would like to say a great big thank you to all the parents, caregivers, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends assisting students with home schooling. Your support has made our tasks so much easier and smoother.
It was unfortunate students did not return to school and be involved in the day to day activities of school life. Hopefully we will see students in Term.
Thanks to:
Parents/Caregivers - for the positive feedback and comments.
Teachers - for their ongoing hard work teaching, supporting and following up with students.
Executive - for their ongoing hard work and support to students and staff.
Cleaning staff - for their ongoing work maintaining covid standards.
SASS (includes SLSO &GA) - for their great work this term at school and home. All staff completed a wide variety of courses via the Department and LinkedIn. Staff also came on site daily to manage the office duties.
I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and look forward to seeing everyone in Term 4. Stay Safe.
