Sustainability

The students at Sunshine Heights Primary School are dedicated to spreading the word about sustainability throughout their local community.

As part of the 'Love your Locals' event with the Werribee Zoo and Brimbank Council, our students are raising awareness about native bees and how to attract them to your gardens. The students have been busy creating pledge stakes to hand out at local Brimbank Council planting events however with COVID-19 restrictions in place the wildflower give away has been cancelled.   

As you can imagine the students are disappointed but will not give up spreading the word. We hope in the near future to use our stakes in an 'in-house' school event where we will pledge to increase the native flowering plants across our school gardens.
