Leadership @ MPS

As a very challenging Term 3 draws to a close, I would like to acknowledge the extraordinary work of our MPS community. The focus on the continuation of learning, as well as supporting the wellbeing of our students and each other, has placed an enormous demand on everyone in our community. We celebrate the persistence and determination of our students who have tried so hard to stay connected, maintain levels of engagement with each other and navigate the remote learning program. We recognise the relentless energy and creativity of our staff and of course the great patience and tolerance of our parents and carers, for whom this has been a worrying time on many fronts. We are so fortunate to have such an inclusive, united and caring Monty community - for that we are grateful. Thank you to all.
I wish I had more to offer, but at this point we are not able to be any clearer about the settings that will be in place for Term 4. Once a plan has been confirmed, we will communicate accordingly.
We do hope that you can all take some time to breathe over the next fortnight, without Webex classroom meetings or Coach Josh popping up in the background...
Take care everyone.

Playground Update - Some Great News!
We are looking forward to the development of our new playground space with works beginning at the start of Term 4. This is a fantastic outcome after our huge fundraising efforts over the last few years. This play space will be located on the tiered vacant block beside the staff carpark. It will add another dimension of play for our students as it has been inspired by nature and features all natural materials. We know that the children will be itching to get into the sandpit and play cubbies in the timber teepee. We look forward to sharing progress with you once work on the project begins. Check out the plan and images that will inspire our playground below.

Vaccination is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect our school community from further outbreaks and the spread of COVID-19.
