Year 9 Italian Excursion to Fremantle
“On Monday 3 December, the Year 9 Italian class went to Fremantle for our end-of-year lunch. While we were there, we visited the Welcome Walls and learned a bit about the history of Fremantle and its Italian immigrants. We also learned about people like C. Y. O’Connor and John Curtin and their association with Fremantle. Then we enjoyed an amazing lunch at Sandrino’s and ate slices of pizza and a delicious plate of pasta. For dessert we had some Italian gelato, which was just the thing needed on such a hot day! It was a very enjoyable time and thanks to Ms Tersigni and Dr Runco for taking us”.
Sophia Giuffre (Year 9 - X4)
“Today we had a great Italian lunch in Fremantle. The service at Sandrino’s was great and I had way too much pasta! We then went to have a gelato. It was a great day, with great people! Thank you!”
