Covid-19 Update

Dear families,

As you are aware the Premier and Chief Medical Officer have advised that it is safe for students to return to school.

As a result we have had over 90% of our students return to face to face learning on site.

While it is wonderful to see most of our students again, it has made it extremely difficult for teachers to have the time to provide new learning across 3 different platforms:

  • Online
  • Face to face
  • Home packages

With most of our students at school our teachers’ time is fully occupied with planning, implementing and assessing learning for students in the classrooms.

We understand that some families will still want to keep their children at home – however as from Monday May 11th our online learning option will be significantly modified.

Students learning from home will still be required to access learning activities daily and staff members will continue to check in and monitor student access from home.

It will no longer be possible for teachers to send home new learning via the online platforms. The learning will be focussed on revision and consolidation.

Other Department for Education approved on line learning opportunities are available at:

If you have any further questions or queries please contact us at school.

Kind regards,

Joy Keddie
