Wushka

This term we are introducing a new reading program called 'Wushka' which is a cloud-based digital school reading program,  designed to support students learning to read.  All students have been given a logon and password which they use to access the program at home. There are 600 levelled fiction and non fiction books stored in the digital reading boxes. Every reader is supported by an online comprehension quiz and  teacher support material  and progress tracking. 

We have had fun practicing to logon and read new books. Some classes have had buddy classes giving them a hand.

Refugee Poster Competition

Congratulations to 

Manal and Jinglei for their entries into the Refugee Poster Competiton. 

This will be judged during term 2 with winners being announced during Refugee Week (June 14th to 20th).
