From the Principal

Term 2

This term we have seen over 90% of our students return to face to face learning at school. Students have settled back into routines and all learning programs are proceeding as usual.

This term we have 2 teachers in room 2 as Mrs Barker is on leave.

Hannah Andersen – Mondays and Tuesdays

Alissia King – Wednesdays- Fridays

The Arts program is being delivered by two teachers:

The focus of The Arts continues to be Media Arts, with students designing animations, posters and video clips with plans to use these around the school, shared during assemblies and on our website.  

The focus for Science this term is Biological Science.

Students will be involved in researching the ecosystem of our Swale area and planning improvements with additional planting.

Assemblies

This term we will be holding modified assemblies. We will repeat the assembly so that only half the students attend at one time.

Unfortunately we cannot include parents or friends at this stage due to the restrictions related to COVID-19.

Learning Programs for Term 2

We are continuing with our expectations around hygiene practices (regular hand washing and cleaning of surfaces) and social distance between adults in accordance with requirements set by the Premier and Chief Medical Officer.

We are looking forward to a very productive term of learning!
